Ever Valles, 19, a Mexican national, was released from the Denver jail in late December. Last week he was charged by state prosecutors, along with another defendant, in the murder and robbery of a man at a light rail station this month.

If it was simple theft charges, he probably bonded out within a day. The detainer was probably placed after the fact.

I like referring to individuals as "Mexican Nationals" (or whatever God-forsaken Third World hole they hail from). That removes the no man's land of "undocumented immigrant" from the discussion. The crux of the matter is poised right there, easy for all to see- The person in question isn't a citizen of the US. Ergo, GTFO.
