Remember this cry from the leftists when were talking about ghey marriage cakes and ghey wedding photographers?

Leftists told us if you have business open to the public... you have to serve all comers, even if you completely disagreed with them on moral grounds?

Where'd they all go?

Not a peep has been heard from them about businesses like google, paypal, facebook, and others... refusing to do business with people they have moral objections with...

Where'd they all go?

This goes back to the previous thread how they hold their "enemy" to standards they don't hold themselves to.

I thought about this earlier today.

If we are going to stay true to principles.
Shouldn't these businesses be forced to do business with those they object to?

Well, I can't disagree with what your saying.

Trying to find the needle here so don't take this as me disagreeing with the OP. But don't those tech companies have conduct policies before people sign on to use product?

So, are you saying that all any company needs to do is have the customer sign a "conduct policy" prior to a transaction?

The right side is always on the left side. Right and wrong as subjective to them and nothing is objectionable unless stated by the left as such. Laws only are pertaining to what the left deems worthy and the sheep supporting them follow along in unified fashion.

Oh shite! You are correct.

All those Christian bakers have to do is implement a conduct policy for their customers.

Problem solved.

They never believed it

Virtually nothing a liberal states as a principle is one they truly believe

It ALWAYS can be modified to add a clause saying "well, except for you"

The bakers broke a state law having to do with a protected class. Dumb law? Maybe. I'm all about private business having the right to refuse service to anyone.

What laws are the tech companies breaking?

Gay marriage vs spreading hateful messaging shouldn't be the moral test but that where we are at in this debate. So, if you don't mind I'll grab a liberal talking point.

Not serving or baking for someone who that's gay is bigoted. Shutting down hateful points of view is a moral distinction.

Who decides the hateful line?

These assholes say wearing a Trump hat qualifies as hate

I don't think gays are a protected class according to the Constitution?

As in how you justify your moral distinction, right?

I'll bet that if you dig into the numbers, that the vast majority of the banned persons are white.

So, using disparate impact principles as is directed under many SCOTUS decisions, one can surmise that discrimination on the basis of race is occurring.

They should probably file suit.

Just looking at the groups we have seen shut down so for, most look to be White Supremacist groups if I'm not mistaken? Could and should Antifa also be kicked off these websites and considered a hate group?

I'm not even saying I agree because I'm probably the biggest 1st amendment guy on this board. I don't think anyone should be banned on TD.

I bet Muslims would rank high as well. I bet there are a lot of ISIS and radical Islam postings taken down or at least I hope.
