Because they are everywhere and growing larger and more influential all the time. It seems like every time I go outside I see a truck full of KKK guys driving around looking for someone to lynch. It's crazy out there.

was actually started to keep tobacco farmers from selling to the Duke family factors. Dukes had cornered global market and were taking land and ruining poor farmers. TN tobacco farmers got together and put sheets on at night at staked out tobacco farmers suspected of doing business with the Dukes. Those farmers were killed and their farm ruined. Scorched earth policy... Klan had nothing to do with blacks initially but was a self policing preservation society. In a way I guess it still is...

The KKK only exists as a propaganda machine used by Soros and the Democratic elite to push the narrative that Republicans are racists and as a scare tactic to enable fear mongering to ensure that the minority and LGTBQ vote is not swayed by substance to those nasty Republicans.

ETA: For proof, look at one of the final Grand whatever they call their leader who was a Democratic representative who filibustered the Civil Rights Act with his Democratic brethren. LBJ took them behind closed doors and explained the intent of the act and the others he would pass "to ensure the #$*&^ vote" and they all fell inline. This is why HRC says that he was her mentor, he showed her how fear mongering can keep the voters inline and she changed her outward super predator mindset.

I've lived in the Deep South, the east coast, and the west coast.

The only KKK I've seen with my own eyes is usually around the 2nd or 3rd inning in Alex Box

Obviously it still exists some places, I picture it more like a social club for racists than I do a militant group with influence.

Slightly off topic I know, but folks (generations later) in Kentucky still talk bad about the Duke family.

You do realize that the modern Republican Party and the Democratic Party of that time are much more similar to each other than today's Democratic Party and that Democratic Party.

always will, much worse venom today on that topic, even more hate than hatfield v. mccoys

I had relatives on both sides, hating the dukes and loving the dukes, family never been the same... the poor ones chose the night riders, the rich relatives chose the dukes...still that way today.

Not true at all. The modern Republican Party is not even remotely similar to the Democrat Party of old.

So much fail in your post.

Because Strom Thurmond changed parties after the Republicans led the passage of the civil rights act to become a Republican. This officially made Republicans literally Nazi KKK members.

Actually, the Democrats gave up segregation and became a lot more like the Republican party on civil rights.
