Last year they killed 8 out of 28 shot over Thanksgiving weekend. That's an unimpressive average of .286

This year it was 9 kills out of 61 shot which is a .147. That's bad even for a pitcher.

Is it the Emmanuel Line instead of the Mendoza Line when it comes to mayors?

How many plate appearances did Aspen, CO have last year?

Well in your analogy, I think we want this to be a pitcher's opponent batting average. This is a good trend.

This proves my theory that if you would rather not be shot stay out of Chicago, however if you would prefer to survive a shooting Chicago is probably the best place to get shot.

Dumbfricks have terrible gun control.

Maybe they were all switch hitters?

Bayou Classic shooter batted 1 for 9 or was it 1 for 10, 1 dead of 9 or 10?

Parts of Chicago (i.e., the Southside); much of Chicago is great though.

I bet it's even worse if you counted the number of bullets shot.

Oddly, just before Thanksgiving I read a piece in the NYT that said Rahm is making a comeback. It said crime is down and his popularity is on the uptake.

Yeah you shouldn't expect a kill with every bullet. A better stat would be shots fired versus hits.
