I doubt Putin really cares about the individual in the Oval Office. He just knows Hillary means a continuation of our interventionist foreign policy while Trump might (not necessarily will) be different.

You apparently didn't see the travesty involving Joe Biden basically having to tell Congressional Dems to STFU yesterday?

So many of you are missing the point it's sad
It seems to be you that is missing the point.

At the outset, consensus amongst US Intel was any Russian effort would never be to change or hack an election.
It would be to cast doubt on validity of the result.
That is the game, both here and elsewhere.

To that end, our POS leaking partisan CIA Director should be on the Putin payroll.
He is doing literally everything he can to ensure Putin/Russia accomplish the desired result.

I strongly hope Congress follows through with investigations of leaks tied to US Intel in this affair, and aimed at delegitimizing the US electoral process.

Classic liberals (as would have been defined in the 1950s) and modern day traditional conservatives would be more alike than different.

What was Trump's major line until he won and suddenly forgot it? The election is rigged!

Exactly!
And was the MSM not complicit in interfering on Hillary's behalf?

Make sure the truth is not exposed again?

Were the terrorist who attacked Benghazi trying to hack our previous election by letting everyone know they were still out to get us? Glad Obama covered that one up are you? Obstruction of truth is WAY worse than exposing it.

Make sure it doesn't happen again? Y'all should just be able to lie, frick over whoever you want, cover it up...and you want who to guarantee you that right?

You are wrong. Trump's statement after the review clearly states that he will aggressively try to stop it.

Trump's statement:
quote:

I had a constructive meeting and conversation with the leaders of the Intelligence Community this afternoon. I have tremendous respect for the work and service done by the men and women of this community to our great nation.

“While Russia, China, other countries, outside groups and people are consistently trying to break through the cyber infrastructure of our governmental institutions, businesses and organizations including the Democrat National Committee, there was absolutely no effect on the outcome of the election including the fact that there was no tampering whatsoever with voting machines. There were attempts to hack the Republican National Committee, but the RNC had strong hacking defenses and the hackers were unsuccessful.

Whether it is our government, organizations, associations or businesses we need to aggressively combat and stop cyberattacks. I will appoint a team to give me a plan within 90 days of taking office. The methods, tools and tactics we use to keep America safe should not be a public discussion that will benefit those who seek to do us harm. Two weeks from today I will take the oath of office and America’s safety and security will be my number one priority.

If Putin's goal was to destroy us by getting Trump elected, then he massively failed.

This is a very democratic idea. Someone hacks your email server because you fail to have adequate security, and it's immediately someone else's fault. Like trump could somehow stop this same attack from happening to someone as stupid as podesta in the future

Also the fact that trump is less likely to start a war with Putin is ideal and the reason so many people like him.

That said - I am an actual leftist, not a Democrat, and it is pretty obvious even to me that all of this Putin shite is a bunch of garbage. They have provided zero proof of any hacking. Podesta got fooled by what amounts to a Nigerian Prince e-mail. No one, not even the Clinton camp, is questioning the veracity of the e-mails that Wikileaks put out. It is irrelevant if the Russians helped with the leaks, and the Democrats are basically saying "It's not fair that they exposed us for what we are!"

Great analysis by a proud leftist and spot on, but you're still a leftist POS and a enemy to anyone who loves unfettered freedom.

LEFTIST-Left-wing politics supports social equality and egalitarianism, often in opposition to social hierarchy and social inequality.

I want IT to happen every single time.

I would applaud the goddamn North Koreans if they were responsible for exposing the dirty secrets of our political class.

Dems aren't upset that it happened, they're upset that they were on the losing side of it. That's it, period.
