I doubt Putin really cares about the individual in the Oval Office. He just knows Hillary means a continuation of our interventionist foreign policy while Trump might (not necessarily will) be different.

At the outset, consensus amongst US Intel was any Russian effort would never be to change or hack an election.
It would be to cast doubt on validity of the result.
That is the game, both here and elsewhere.
To that end, our POS leaking partisan CIA Director should be on the Putin payroll.
He is doing literally everything he can to ensure Putin/Russia accomplish the desired result.
I strongly hope Congress follows through with investigations of leaks tied to US Intel in this affair, and aimed at delegitimizing the US electoral process.

This is a very democratic idea. Someone hacks your email server because you fail to have adequate security, and it's immediately someone else's fault. Like trump could somehow stop this same attack from happening to someone as stupid as podesta in the future
Also the fact that trump is less likely to start a war with Putin is ideal and the reason so many people like him.
