Im not even trying to be my usual dick self when i say this, but you should reread the OP. Its just kind of sad.

You absolve Trump in a sense by saying he didnt frick up like GWB and Obama but what he is doing is preserving their legacy. After specifically promising he would do the exact opposite....and here you are apologizing.

his is the media number not Trump's.

Could be 40 or 400,000 troops.

Well, I'm sticking with 4,000 until I see official reports that state otherwise and if there's any change to that number then opinions can change too.

Like 40 is laughable and not even a blip on the radar.

And 400,000 is grounds for impeachment that I would wholeheartedly support.

I'm not apologizing for shite dude. I'm just saying that this is the best scenario we can hope for if Trump is going to renege on a campaign promise. It could be a whole lot worse.

Don't kid yourself, I'm still pissed at Trump for doing this but I know for a fact that Neocons still fricking hate Trump and they would impeach him in a heartbeat if they had the votes and public support. They don't trust him worth a shite as far as mideast policy goes and are still going to be gunning for him.

What are the chances that this is a way of appeasing the neo-cons and warhawks *cough* McCain *cough* to earn votes on domestic policy?

Is it possible to give them some crumbs to get some shite passed and pull back from the middle east afterwards? say the 2018 elections?

Just a random thought from reading through the topic. I haven't been up to speed on capitol hill since I've been on vacation.
I really wish would could drop the middle east like a bad habit, but too many people are addicted to the various offerings it provides. The resources and war have made far too many people wealthy for them to walk away I'm afraid. Bush and Cheney are prime examples of this.

Are you ready to see that the guy you voted for is unsuited for the gig you gave him?

He has lied constantly.

He is clearly out of his depth.

And yet your blind faith to him continues.

Mr. Smith goes to Washington is 80 years old and still people think the person they voted for can change the machine.

Good intentions and promises buy you a hot-dog and a coke on the streets in D.C. during the long hot summers.

Sentrius fell for Trump. Hard. Shame, too. He used to be a decent dude.

You know its possible to support Trump and still be a decent poster right?

Why the frick is supporting X political candidate/politician an automatic disqualifier from being a "good poster"?

Rex and Hawkeye95 were hillary supporters but they were/are good posters.

Certainly. And no insult intended...but you use to be an independent thinker capable of a good debate. More and more you parrot Trump supporter lines or tell poster to go to hell.

Pre-trump you changed my mind on more then one topic...now you just have joined the masses of Trump supporters.

It was disappointing to watch.

I still am.

I thought independently with this thread and I posted my thoughts and I stand by it.

Trump fricked up but it could've been a whole lot worse and I'm praying it doesn't.

We need to get the hell out of the land of little boy frickers and bacon haters.

I don't.

You will never see me mindlessly attacking some people just for the sake of doing it. I'm not a nihilist like that. If I do attack someone, it's because debate is a lost cause or he said something so offensive that I had to say something.

Telling pakis we will get india to deal with the pashtuns is so dumb, its next tier down from bush unleashing sunni shia sectarian iraq civil war if we really do it. Hopefully its a goad, a threat.

On the plus side the troops are going to Afghanistan and not North Korea. Obama kicked the North Korea can down the road to Trump. Trump is kicking the Afghanistan can down the road to whoever comes next.
