If muh Russians is such a joke, why is Trump playing along?

This is obvious propaganda to anybody with a functioning brain. So why is Trump following along with it? And now his family is involved, too? Why?
Either Trump is a Drama Queen (which would explain the infatuation of him from this board) or he is part of the establishment propaganda.
