As for the overall point-I think it points to Trump’s poor judgement in picking allies. As an individual his policies are great but his poor cabinet choices and endorsements have hindered his agenda from being pushed forward

The media framed this race.
There is zero question that Oz is the more accomplished and smarter individual.
The problem is he has some easy things to hit. That’s why despite the opponent we have to be better in our candidate choices.
The media will cover up the left’s deficiencies. MAGAs have to be above reproach because they will make stuff up even if they are above it.
Oz has too much low hanging fruit.

I don’t understand how you think “we” choose candidates. I’ve seen a whole bunch of shite candidates in my voting years. I’ve seen a handful of good ones. I don’t ever recall getting much “choice” in who any of them were one way or the other.

My county in Pennsylvania voted over 65% for Trump in 2020. I see Trump signs and Let's Go Brandon signs daily, and I have still only seen one Oz sign here. I'm up to five total, the other four were within a couple miles over the border coming back from New Jersey earlier this week.
There is next to no support for Dr. Oz here. I have no doubt most of his votes will be votes against the democrat.

It really is amazing. Oz is not a great candidate but he should be able to beat Uncle Fester, who like you said really is human excrement personified.

I don't think this guy wins. Oz is a terrible candidate, but this guy is pretty bad. I think Oz will squeeze it out.
