I would not hire these Notre Dame graduates

I have participated in my company's interviewing process and can tell you with certainty that if I knew a student participated in this type of action, I would not recommend them to be hired. If you don't like the speaker, get your degree in the mail. Democrat or Republican, you don't walk out on the President or Vice President giving a speech.

I interviewed someone that when asked to provide an example of a time he had to resolve a conflict told me how as an RA he lectured a guy for asking to be reassigned because his roommate was gay. He said he told him that he was being discriminatory for feeling uncomfortable. He didn't need to say anything else at that point in the interview, there was no way he was getting an offer.

Well, when these shitasses see how their behavior precludes them from getting anywhere because normal non-academic people will not put up with their shite perhaps they might. Of course, as stupid as they appear to be they might not.
You know what though, they won't act this way when groveling for a job because they are gutless cowards who only do so in environments where they are coddled.
