I worked with a very diverse group of WASP men. We had Bama, LSU, Arkansas, Kentucky fans and even one Auburn fan. We had many stimulating discussions. There was a Ohio State fan, but we shunned him.

It's amazing what an awesome economy can do.

With that said, instead of praising the President on his management of the economy but phrasing their candidacy as "but we want to do more", they attempt to remove him from office over over-inflated charges which make sense only through the lens of party-biased subjectivity. The vast majority of voters are seeing through that (and your conversations are just a small example).

The far left fringe is the loudest demographic there is and as such they have taken over the Democratic Party through the old adage of "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". The more extreme the center of the party becomes, the more traditional Democrat voters are turning way (either voting GOP or 3rd party or just not voting at all). When your party leader flat-out states publicly that there is no room in the party for ~25% of their voters (anti-abortion/pro-life) and is celebrated for doing so while the party's chosen candidates are losing more elections than they are winning as well as the party is living almost paycheck-to-paycheck, that does nothing but underscore how fringe the party itself has become (and continues to move into).

I work with a lot liberals, too. Except they’re actually shitty people. They’re a bunch of stuck up looney toons. I have liberal friends outside of work that aren’t brain dead morons. It’s hit or miss for me.

I work with a pretty good bit too (Education, Technology) and I'll tell you one thing for sure.

They have always been SUPER VOCAL about Trump when all this started. (Stormy, Mueller, etc) They have not said a single word about this impeachment. They are not talking about it at all. That silence speaks volumes.

What evidence would they be providing? Name 1 criminal act committed by our President that is cause for impeachment. Just 1, and i'll vote for the next Democrat you idiots put up for nomination.

We'll see what happens as this Impeachment hangs over Trump's head indefinitely.

We need to keep in mind this: The US electorate voted the Dems back in to the House. These same voters that you say are sick of the Dems just voted for them.

My money says that they are dupes and they can continue to be dupes.

At this point, the OP's observation isn't an isolated incident, there are tons of people on the left that are being honest with themselves and seeing everything for what it is. THAT doesn't make you look very good. You are either really dumb or outright purposely trying to mislead people (which no one is buying btw).

This is comical. To say this while ignoring the fact that Schiff and Nadler rigged the rules for the impeachment hearings to where the Republicans couldn't call witnesses of their choosing is like cutting someone's brake lines on their car and then blaming them for getting into a wreck.

So what? You act as if this is the first time in presidential history that a president has told or "instructed" his closest advisers not to testify after Congress has called on them to testify.

Trump simply did what many presidents have done in the past which is claiming executive privilege in the matter.

There's a very clear and well established precedent followed by the legislative branch when they disagree with the validity of an executive privilege claim by a president. They challenge the claim in the courts and the courts either uphold or deny the executive privilege claim. If Trump's executive privilege claim had been contested in the courts by the legislative branch and Trump had lost and THEN he instructed his advisers not to testify or turn over the requested documents then he would be guilty of obstruction of Congress or possibly even obstruction of justice.

The fact that you and so many of your fellow Democrats can't grasp this basic point is quite frankly a bit scary. You guys are either clueless about how the constitution and rule of law works in this country or you do know how constitutional rights like a president's right to claim executive privilege works and you simply don't like it and pretend like it doesn't exist when a Republican president exercise such rights.

What truth?

Do you not know the authorization and privileges provided to POTUS, esp when dealing with foreign powers...

The house doesn't...are you buying what they sell?

Legally he is 100% within his right to say whatever he wants to anyone outside the US.
He can yell FIRE in foreign movie theaters, that's how broad that power is written.

Yea. The truth. Solid verifiable truths such as a drug addict son who knocks up strippers being a business genius who can sit on boards of companies. Companies in which he has zero experience in.

Truths like said drug addict son who knocks up strippers getting a huge cash infusion from the Chinese because of his business genius. All the while on the same trip with the Vice President. Oh and he also didn’t tell Biden anything about it. Not a single mention on a very long trip back from China.

Yep. Solid truths.

From Giuliani's own lips when he was referring to his planned trip to Ukraine:
quote:

“There’s nothing illegal about it,” he said. “Somebody could say it’s improper. And this isn’t foreign policy — I’m asking them to do an investigation that they’re doing already and that other people are telling them to stop. And I’m going to give them reasons why they shouldn’t stop it because that information will be very, very helpful to my client, and may turn out to be helpful to my government.
