It was just like this in 2015-2016.
Nothing’s changed.
Many didn’t like Trump here, but had to begrudgingly pull the lever for him.
Now it’s continuing.

Welcome to the primaries. Some people can't stand primaries. Especially when the primary is of a political party that removes funding from their own candidates and promotes the democrats.
Primaries will be especially ugly with the GOP being Liz Cheney's.
W/O their masks the GOPe are all Liz Cheney.
How many years are we going to accept the failed policies of the Establishment caucus?
There is nothing wrong with challanging the status quo.
Matt Gaetz or anyone but the status quo as Speaker. Move a long Kevin, your crap doesn't work. No more Ryan's, McCarthy's.

DeSantis was a founding member of the Freedom Caucus you twit.
I'm aware of who he is. It's why I like him as much as I do.
But, there's a pretty strong indication (not certain) that he's willing to concede to the GOPe in order to be backed...and destroying the administrative state is a massive, painful undertaking that Trump was in a much better position to do as a 2nd term president (pissed off one at that).
It's ABSOLUTELY not clear that Desantis is willing to do these things.
That you aren't willing to acknowledge this shows that you are one of those "I need to win" guys.

You know Trump was mean tweeting right?
Trump acting childish and calling Desantis Desanctimonious. Can you imagine if Desantis would be so immature as to call Trump a name? Trump’s head would explode.

Let us all save our venom for those that richly deserve it, the Democrats. Quit tearing ourselves apart. Or as we say in Kentucky as our state motto : United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

Your analysis is solid. Particularly this observation.
quote:
The people in the middle that actually can be swayed and tend to believe they're apolitical, are influenced by the media, social media, big tech, Hollywood and the music industry who they believe to be truthful.
These powerful forces are inimical to conservatives, conservative policies, and are seemingly motivated by an unhinged visceral hatred of Donald Trump. They use his emotional outbursts to manipulate the middle “apolitical” “independent” voters to ignore reason and facts and vote for candidates whose policies are ultimately harmful to them and destructive of our Constitution, the Republic, and the liberties they both protect and represent.

They both should run…. I’m sure that will work out well for the country.
Oh, I don't think there is any chance that you won't see BOTH run. If DeSantis wins the primary, Trump runs as a 3rd party and wins.
