Every national election the media is polled as to how they vote. They always vote 90% Democrat, yet people, even the press themselves, claim not to be clued into this reality. Someone please splain to me how this is possible.

Well, Tim Russert was the Chief of Staff to Dem Senator Daniel Moynihan.
George Stephanopolis, not only worked in White House as press sec and senior advisor, he has a significant role on the 92 campaign. It would be very similar to Karl Rove hosting GMA and Sunday morning show.
So, partisan only means republican.

My two favorite theories posited by leftists who claim there is no bias:
a. The Hat Theory. Journalists live their lives with a liberal hat on. When they enter the newsroom they take it off and put on their Objective Hat.
b. The IQ Theory. Journalists are the smartest people in the world. Liberals are the smartest political camp. Therefore, journalists are naturally drawn to their own kind... the brilliant people.

THIS! This is exactly what I tell people who question liberal bias in the media. No way Rove would ever host a network Sunday morning show, but Stephanopolis is there. Gregory treated Bush shabbily for 8 years, yet there he is. No wonder the ratings are tanking.
