They'll be even fewer Dems left in the chamber to not clap about stopping terrorism or ending the drug epidemic or bringing back American jobs.

It's going to be a great great night. That I can tell you.

They are a dying breed, literally dying in the vine.

They need to concentrate on remaining a regional party consisting of urbanites and fringe groups.

You may come to rue the day you were so smug. I have all the confidence in the world that Trump will continue to frick up.

You had all the confidence he wouldn't win, too.

Not sure what you mean, but there are just 8 Republicans up for reelection. Also 7 of 8 came from states that Trump carried and most he carried big time. There is 25 total for reelection for Democrats. The Democrat party looks very vulnerable for 2018. I am not sure what the House looks like though.

Four months ago everybody thought the GOP was a cooked goose. Politics runs in cycles, and fortunes change when you least expect it. Democrats will learn from their mistakes and Republicans will get complacent. It always happens. Always.

Dems have shown they've learned nothing and have only doubled down on why they lost.

How will they learn from their mistakes when they don't even think they have made any?

Minorities historically do not show for mid terms. Sad!

Is this your first time watching an address? Sitting on their asses during Obama's speeches really hurt the GOP. Oh wait, no it didn't, because the only thing most of these politicians have to worry about is being primaried by someone further to the right or left.
