I am seriously wondering how in the HELL did the USA win the Cold War?

I mean...by all accounts, the Russians are all-powerful and all-knowing, to the point of knowing the American electorate better than the DNC and the American media (who both thought they had this election in the bag...until they didn't). They were able to hack not only the election, but the Wisconsin recount (how else do you explain Trump GAINING 162 votes?).
I believe we should just go ahead and surrender now.

Read the book Spy master by Kalugin. A former general of the KGB tells his story and the problems the USSR had. One issue was he found interesting was that Americans thought the KGB was organized which was completely untrue.
