Watching the protests at Berkeley has left me with a sick feeling. I am close in age to many of these protestors, and I just love how many of them preach "love" and "tolerance," yet when they hear opinions or points of view that don't align with their own, they resort to hatred and intolerance to silence people.

Many of them claim that our President is creating a fascist, authoritarian state, but I would argue that these imbeciles are the ones that want to make that reality.

Many of my own liberal friends tried to comfort themselves immediately after the election by saying that if only millennials voted, Hillary would have won 45-48 states and that there is hope for a more "tolerant" future. If these protestors are truly representative of our future, then free speech and dissent are truly fricked.

Shame on these intolerant regressives. I'd rather eat a box of rusty nails than be associated with the left in this country.

You're correct. The left is far less tolerant than the right.

Not one car was burned by the TEA party.

Don't feel bad kid. We all have left wing kooks in our various age groups. Hell I think I am about 5 months older than obama

Do you need a daddy, or maybe a granddad. I can go either way.

And if only toddlers voted then Mickey Mouse would win....see how more realistic one's views of the world get when one has more life experience?

I'm with you man. I'm in my early 20's in school, I work my fricking arse off 40 a week and take 16-18 credits and then you get these lazy asses who don't work and take BS majors.

I'm disgusted by my generation.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have two jobs, and work one of them during my winter and summer breaks. Coupled with 16 hours a semester. Half of these protestors are gender studies majors. Book it.

Keep it up young man! Its young men like you and TigersHuskers that give me hope for the future. The last president left many people in this country believing they could get something for nothing if they just screamed and threw a tantrum. Everyone in this country has to put skin in the game for it to prosper. Continue with your hard work ethic. You will be miles ahead of your contemporaries and you can laugh your arse off at those assholes that thought the world owed them something when u see them holding a sign in the side of the road that says Stop/Go if you get my message.
