As a Trump supporter and Libitarian Conservative, I love watching the Left destroy itself. All this viloence in the streets and child like acting in Congress by the left is pushing more average independents and Blue collar Dem's over to us for the foreseeable future. (And I enjoy watching these clowns complety melt down!)
Furthermore, the average person is seeing what many of us who follow politics closely have been seeing for awhile...The complete highjacking of the Dem party by the hard Soros liberal left.
However, I also know it's not good for our country to divide like this. I am scared that in 4 years, it will be so broken that we will be past a point of no return.

Also, my guess is that it won't get really bad until/if the Republicans get 60 in the Senate and be fillibuster proof. If that happens, that's when you will see real insanity in the streets!

I guess this is just a bittersweet moment for me. Anyone other Trump supporters having the same thoughts?

Divide and conquer; the establishment's go-to winning ploy for centuries.

I realize that.... Which is why I said 4 years from now. I know it was way worse in the late 60's early 70's. 24 hour news makes it look much worse than it normally is. However, we it can easily get to a tipping point 4 years from now.

During Dubya's second term, I was reading and posting on DU everyday, raging against the neocons. Now, I could not be further apart from what that party has become. They have totally lost their way. They managed to nominate someone even more hated than Trump, a neocon-lite shill for big war/big banks/Saudis, etc. And they're not happy enough with the fact that our country is actually in a pretty good spot in terms of social issues -- we elected a black man twice and everyone is pretty much cool with gay marriage. But, they have to ram tranny bathrooms down our throats and the supposed party of free speech is into incessant whining and censoring everybody who makes them feel uncomfortable. I'm not even sure I like Trump all that much, but he is the one frick you to all this insanity.

What was your opinion on the right's behavior in Congress the past 8 years? What the left is doing now is just following their lead.

THIS is what you get when your party has been run by a petulant child for the last eight years who had no business managing a McDonald's much less running the country.

And, when you "give" the job of President of the United States to a "community organizer" who had never held a real job in his entire useless f*cking life and had been GIVEN everything in his life strictly because he was half-black, why would we expect any differently.

No, because from the smallest examples to the change of power in a country, not many people take well to change.Compound that by a myriad of cultural shift factors, amplified polarity between parties and groups and the deplorable way the country was run for 8-years.

People are VERY reactionary right now, rather than allowing some of these changes to show their merit. The process must be allowed to play itself out before you label it in any way.

Not even close. Did they stall on all of Obama's cabinet picks like this? The Republicans opposed Obama's policies with their votes(sometimes). What are they supposed to do? Rubber stamp everything Obama wanted? Republicans were labeled obstructionists but Obama was the one who was rigid and completely unwilling to work with Republicans.
