How meaningless has the term "Nazi" become now?

Really, the Democrats will label anyone they dislike as a "Nazi". Whether it be Trump, Milo, and now even PewDiePie, the term has now lost its meaning entirely. That should be a very serious acusation if you actually think that of someone, because what they did and stood for is fricking horrifying and unforgivable.

But now they're labeling everyone as the worst people in the world. Don Lemon the other night called Milo a white supremacist and Nazi, despite no evidence for that. Sure he's an a-hole, but a reporter can't say bullshite like that and mislead the American people. Jim Jefferies called Piers Morgan a Hitler sympathizer due to his support of Trump.

Really calling me a racist about 2 years ago would have bothered me. I didn't think I was racist, so I would doubt myself whenever my opinions were skewered. Now I know that I was the one was actually aware of the definition, and those accusations fall on deaf ears. Which is sad, because there are actual white supremacists out there like Richard Spencer and JaxDog, but now no one listens since everyone has heard it about everyone. Now everyone is a racist, so who cares?

That is very dangerous for actual racist opportunists to take power, whether it be black lives matter or real Neo Nazis who actively try to blend in with men like Milo, who aren't racists.

This is dangerous and I'm glad Maher is giving Milo a platform tonight to show that he is not one.

yes, it took Maher giving a gay man a platform to prove he's not a Nazi.

Yeesh.

I actually think that the left using the word to cover a giant swath of people will actually make closet white supremacists come out and make their ideas known and might actually start some sort of reemergence of radical rights to counter their radical leftists. It's really just ridiculous all around but the left is just stirring shite too much.

You hate socialists?

You don't want the trains to run on time?

You don't want regulated control of banks and corporations?

You hate single payer systems?

It's a shame, too. Got to visit Dachau when I was younger. Ppl who throw this term around have no idea what real Nazi's did.

Being labeled a nazi, racist, homophobe, woman hater, etc... has absolutely no value anymore. Particular groups have saturated society with these insults or labels, that they have become absolutely meaningless. Keep it up assholes, you're only hurting yourselves.

To me it is so hypocritical for them to call conservatives nazi and racist, because they will then go on to say that Trump's words are rhetoric that insights violence. Just laughable really.

But it harms society as a whole that these labels are now meaningless. There are people out there like Richard Spencer, DeRay Mckesson, and Linda Sarsour who want to establish a racist society that will strips rights away from the innocent. And I'd go so far with Spencer to say that we'd have literal genocide if someone like him were to ascend to the Oval Office, and with the other two our free speech revoked entirely and we'd go back to Jim Crow.

These people need to be denounced, but if you go after people like Maher and Milo and especially PewDiePie as racists, then you can't defend against actual bad people who want to warp society into basic prison state.
