Not only a beautiful centerpiece but some damned fine photography to boot!

Yes, folks would pay 3X that for those...if you could find a way to preserve the flowers you could sale 'em on Ebay for $350!

I knew a guy at GTMO who would boil barracudas and cubrera snappers down to the skeleton and then shellack the skeleton and mount them on a piece of stained wood and he was getting $500 for them on ebay!!! Those Cubreras have a wicked set of teeth on 'em!

There was also a guy who ran one of the galley's who spend days on end in the bush at GTMO taking pictures of animals and flowers...he made some serious money selling them online!!! He mounted them in some museum looking frames and made a killing!

That was not mine it was an example. But similiar.

I used to sell in the newspaper ads of the GTMO Gazette famous yard sales on the weekends.

I had a secret spot for getting the conchs. At times just getting them in 3 feet of water. The untrained eye would think it was a rock full of moss and slime.

My wife and a friend of hers had a special spot...I don't know about it being secret but it was inside the industrial area right behind the woodworking shop....a HUGE grass flat full of Conchs and Lobsters....it was off limits but they never got run off....and it was pretty well known they were wading in the area and picking up conch's as fast as they could carry them...they only got a few lobsters every now and again so no one said much....I caught a Cubrera that weighted nearly 80 pounds on that grass flat one night.....in 2-1/2' of water! Talk about a fight....I waded after that damned thing for nearly 2 hours LOL.....had I gotten caught doing it at night they would have probably had to have done something about it!
