How is it possible both sides of the aisle- their supporters believe

that if "the other candidate" wins this election, the country is doomed. "our days are numbered"
I find it remarkable many Democrats feel as strongly as I do about the issues and direction of the country. As I see it, the left have been winning to tug of war for years relative to their agenda for "progress"...
Abortions
they got Obamacare (government sponsored HC)
they got gay marriage
Equality this and that
Trans this and that
BLM this and that
Defund police
Endless regulations that pushed American companies away
Hi corporate taxes
Hi income taxes
many Bail outs before the pandemic
No conviction about illegal immigration
resistance to Voter ID
want to take our guns for the sake of gun safety...
Endless wars both parties seem ok with "it's of national security we remain there"
No term limits...all these very old people running Congress ...it's embarrassing...
Democrats have controlled most of our biggest cities in America for about 50 -75 years running...and look at the problems, the social problems, poverty, destruction, crimes, and so on, good lord...it's bad news
Both sides can't be right...about the direction and "doom" people think will happen if the "other party wins"
It's just amazing how much damage the media does on our populace.
Radio caller on black radio said "Trump is the biggest con artist alive he brilliant at keeping uneducated whites into believing his rhetoric, none of which he believes"
Meanwhile everything Democrats accuse Trump of doing, months later, it turns out the Democrats are guilty of doing...but it's quickly dismissed as conspiracy or "it's already been debunked"

It is because the 2 candidates (especially if kamala slips in the back door) will take the country in opposite directions . With Supreme Court ramifications. Either course will be hard to reverse and could take a generation.

I used to think it was hyperbole but the shift to the left by the Democrats have made me reconsider things. They are extreme and will do whatever it takes to get and maintain power. They don't care about the people.

The press has worked the left into a moral panic since the 2016 election cycle. I get not liking Trump as a person, but for any thinking person to look at that guy and see some right wing conservative ideologue, a vile racist, or most hilariously a FASCIST, means that you're just either being dishonest or you're not thinking straight.
But...if, even wrongly, you truly think the President IS a vile racist bent on right win domination via fascism, this is what you get from the "opposition."
