People that choose their gender are sexist. How can they presume how someone of the opposite sex feels or stereotype how the opposite sex should look or act.

So where's the compassion for the mentally ill?

I don’t know, why don’t you ask your fricked up political leaders on the left that question? You’re the ones trying to shove this bullshite down normal people’s throats constantly, and allowing taxpayers money to go towards these freaks having sex change operations, etc.

If none of that was happening then we wouldn’t speak out against them. There’s tons of mentally ill people that get treatment and go on about their lives. Why should this group get special treatment? And for fricks sake, why the hell should they be granted special rights?

This isn't about gender, but still absolutely craziness.

Friend of mine has a kid that applied to Tulane. On the entrance app, there was a question about what sexuality you identify with. Heterosexual was no. 12 on the list.

WTF.

How does that affect my life one bit?

It effects our society. When weird shite like this become normal, we are falling into their hands.

I do NOT want my kids to turn on the TV and see trans shite everywhere. This is part of them trying to destroy the traditional family values.

I personally don't care what people do to their body, but to make this shite mainstream is where it crosses the line.

In English we don't have gender specific articles. We use "the" for everything. But many languages do the same thing as Spanish. For instance in German it's "der" for masculine and "die" for feminine.

German also has "das" for neuter.

Anyone's "scale" or "theory" is just that and only that. You give it validity because it suits your bias.

Objective reality is just that--objective reality. One cannot "scale" or "theory" ones way out of it.

I asked for people's opinion on it. Does answering the question make you feel uncomfortable?

So under that definition, one's gender can differ from one's sex.

It's called a mental aberration. Not reality to anyone by the one, or ones suffering from that aberration.

It's ok not to like that definition; it's absurd to pretend as though it doesn't exist.

Many aberrations exist. That is by no mean proof of it's validity, and it's absurd to believe it does.

I remember when that was the hallmark of being conservative. Not anyone’s business, esp not the govt.

Why can’t we live and let live? Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Why does the OP sit around on Saturday thinking about transgender people? Hmmm?

No they can't. Mother nature will not be denied. That said, sexual orientation is a totally different and complex thing. My best friend was a UT football player, jumped Ric Flair in a Houston night club and would fight a circle saw. Avid Republican, hunter, fisherman and gay as a $3. bill. Women loved him and he tried but at some point his heart just wasn't in it. He respected straights and kept his queerness to himself and off to the side. Laughed at the sho nuff sissy crowd. And damn sure didn't see himself as feminine.

My wife is psychic though. We all went out and he had a beautiful date and we had a hell of a time and his date was in love. Breakfast table next day she told me your friend John is gay. I laughed at the time but she was right.

Dictate is strong, but I would certainly say that one's base genetics as well as epigenetic factors influence once's propensity to adhere to the "standard" social constructs.

You gave your opinion on "scales" in general. You didn't actually answer my question.

And I've never changed the subject. I brought up the Kinsey Scale because I thought people's thoughts on it would be constructive to the debate in this thread.
