When did a black man's vote ever count for 1/3? The best part of all these melts is the complete lack of knowledge. The loudest people are usually the most unintelligent, and that dude is exhibit A.

That was last night. They basically ran it like "hey here's another protester" then "hey he's our camera guy". Desperate.

Walk into the Supreme Court and ask if something in the constitution is constitutional.

It's one of my pet peeves - the entire 3/5 compromise is misunderstood/mischaracterized, typically by the leftist/BLM types.

Slave owners wanted slaves to be counted at full value for apportionment. Those opposed to slavery (and, generally, yankees that wanted to suppress southern political power) wanted slaves to not be counted as people at all (and they had a good point, since they couldn't vote, it was a fiction to count them as folks for apportionment).

So, anyone saying that "We only count 3/5" - or "They only count you 3/5" is a complete and utter ignoramus.

It is literally a non-issue, except for the ignorant.
