If I am working surveillance security at a hotel, especially a casino, and I see the same guy going in and out daily with a case larger than a briefcase, it may raise some suspicion.

Come on man.

Sheesh.

Exactly.

This shite is comical.

These dumb fricks think the fact they haven't seen the video means there is no video.

Don't get me wrong, there are multiple easy ways to pull this off.

I just want to see the video of him coming and going.

So, if I'm about to pull off the biggest mass murder in the history of the U.S. I'm going to leave it to the bell hop to get my weapons to my room at the off chance a case opens? May be the smartest man alive or dumbest.

Assuming he did the carrying, I would suspect that such video will show up.

Time frame is fairly narrow of 3-5 days. Room and hallway identified.

so out of the thousands of people and 10s of thousands of suitcases over that time period they should have noticed him.

You've watched too many movies.

Really man. It's not hard to lock cases. And, they work.

Yep.

Some security guy monitoring video feeds looking for CURRENT negative activity would totally notice some random middle aged guy who has come and gone from the hotel several times over the course of a few days carrying shite.

And THAT is assuming the same security guy saw him each time.

At some point we will probably see the video. The officials are going to ensure they clear every person he talks to or otherwise interacts with first though.

Well I guess I am a little naive at how this could happen. So it could have just a well been a Muzzie cell and the same thing happen.

A run of the mill Muslim guy walking through a Vegas hotel with a bag would be barely more noticeable than a middle aged white guy.

Several of them at different times would actually be LESS noticeable than the white guy multiple times.

And again. THAT is assuming they did the carrying.

Getting the shite to the room is literally the easiest part of this whole act.

That people are focused on it is amazing.

MGM Resorts International =/= some landlord who took money to let the news into the apartment

I also seem to remember the cops not being too happy about that one as well.

No one who is live monitoring security cameras is likely to notice someone quietly carrying a case through the lobby. Even if they do it multiple times, you are watching hundreds of people across dozens of cameras. The idea that you would take note of him enough to remember his face for the second time he did it is just preposterous.

When doing that you are looking for active threats like fights, a guy with an (uncased) gun, someone having a sudden medical incident. You aren't sitting contemplating who could be up to something ad remembering those faces.

Casino hotel "security" is 95% focused on people cheating/stealing from the CASINO. A guy making 3-4 trips to his HOTEL ROOM with a suitcase over 3-4 days is not going to trigger shite.

There's usually two sets of security people. People watching the gambling floor are separate from generic security.

Interesting! So, according to all reports, the guy had a gambling habit. Also, the guy tried to sue another hotel for a supposed wet floor fall. And believe me, I have no idea how these casino's work. But would this guy not be red flagged for the incident that happened at the other hotel?

The frick? These guys don't have a encyclopedic knowledge of everyone who has sued a hotel in Vegas.

I meant they are looking for someone having a heart attack so they can send medical assistance.

Yeah, I suppose that's true. My experience was with a stand alone casino.

A person with a gambling problem in Vegas is like a person with a drinking problem throughout the bars in a city.

And do you expect your average person monitoring security to know this, and then try to make use of it?

Red flagged for what? Slipping?
