I just finished watching this documentary called Hitler's Escape. Even though I don't buy into the theory that Hitler survived WWII, I do love a good conspiracy theory. The one thing that does surprise me that I did not know is that Stalin believed that Hitler escaped and espoused it until his death. Anyone on here think Hitler got away at the end of the war? If so, where did he go and what happened to him?

Done in 1.

The "Do What You Feel Like" Festival replaces the "Do What We Tell You" Festival started by German immigrants in 1945...

No. Too many eyewitness reports from his personal staff and close associates. His Valet, bodyguards, staff secretaries, etc... all say that once the Russians were invading Berlin, he asked all of them to leave and seek safety. The only one that did not was Eva Braun. She kissed him and told him she would not leave him. This has been reported by many people. A few of his staff stayed behind after they killed themselves and saw first hand, the bodies of Hitler and Braun.

Suicide is more cowardly than running and hiding, IMO.

However, after all the shite he did, he knew he would be faced with execution. But with the Russians invading Berlin, a much worse fate was awaiting. I think he would have offed himself no matter who invaded Berlin, but if it was the Americans, or the British, he might have not come to that conclusion as quickly. The Russians basically raped and murdered Berlin on their way to Hitler. Then they turned East to acquire as much land as possible before the armistice could happen.

You say that as though it's a mark of bravery. Life as a fugitive is apparently pretty terrifying. Imagine being the most wanted man in World History with an easily recognized voice and known medical conditions. Hell, Himmler didn't evade for long.

Another interesting tidbit from the documentary that I linked is that the History Channel team was able to get access tot he skull that the Russians claim was Hitlers. They were able to do a DNA test on it on found that it was the skull of a female. Perhaps it was Eva Braun's skull.

No way Hitler could have made it out of Berlin alive. No way.

I agree with this. He was in one of the deepest bunkers surrounded by Invading Russian troops that would have loved nothing more than to have captured him.

He saw what happened to Mussolini, and did not want to be strung up for days as crow food, which is why he wanted his body burned.

Berlin? I thought Antonio Margarete (aka The Bear Jew) and Dominic Decocco filled him full of lead in Paris during Operation Kino. It's unimaginable that anyone made it out of that cinema alive.

When I was a kid in the 1950s there were tons of stories on:

a. Hitler is living in Argentina

b. The shroud of Turin is really Jesus'.

c. There are still Japs fighting in the jungles.

People lost interest in Hitler since by 1960s he would have died of old age.

Most experts say the shroud is fake.

Japs were indeed still fighting in the jungles. They thought "Hey, the war is over" was a trick by the allies.

One doesn't have to be an expert for this, one simply needs to read the scripture. Jesus' burial clothes was in two pieces not one.

John 20:6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
