Exactly the response Obama wants. He is a petulant divisive arse of a man. But if the Oval Office troll drags good folks down with him, he wins. That's his game.

All that was required here was for Boehner and McConnell to hold a presser in advance of Obama's EO, and make three points.
(1) An EO carries no permanence, therefore puts at risk those it was intended to help. This could well be overturned by the Supreme Court in the next few months. Where would that leave folks who came forward?
(2) The new GOP Congress will take up and pass immigration reform. Dems have refused to get serious about border security. That has been the impediment. Now the adults in the room will put together a balanced plan.
(3) In the interim, the HOR will fight tooth-and-nail against an amnesty EO, not because of reticence to support immigrants, but through responsibility to preserve balance of power between Executive and Legislative Branches.

That's it! That is all! Done!
It is all that would have been required to turn BHO into a political eunuch. You take the man's lunch then eat it in front of him.

Instead, Boehner & Co seem to have swallowed the Troll-in-Chief's bait, hook-line-and-sinker. As does the OP.

I have become increasingly embarrassed to be an American since this clown took office. His actions in our own country and around the world as our representative are humiliating. He has no regard for the people he represents. I never thought someone would be in office that could make me feel this way. He is a tyrant and is completely disrespectful of the office he holds.

And before the childish "melt" comments, I'm not a right winger. I'm a moderate independent who votes for the person not the party. The fact that anyone can even defend this man anymore is baffling to me and shows me just how far gone and pathetically stupid our country has become.
