Screw those parents.

Don't want your kid to learn about Christ/Christianity, then don't send him/her to a Christian school.

It's ok to call yourself a Christian, so long as you don't believe things that Christians have historically believed for 2,000 years.

We can't have people telling the little kiddies about sin or telling them that only winners get trophies. Instead let's just tell them that everyone is good, equal and all winners! And then we let them grow up and let real life hit them right in the face and they will seek safe spaces and cry.

Nobody can say that there is nit a movement to shut down Christianity in the world and im the US.

We, in the 60s, failed todays generation.

There are some good writings by complete atheists about the dangers of the death of "sin." I think both the right and left if the theological spectrum are to blame. The left for dogmatically relativizing everything (ironically) and the right for "moralizing" the concept of sin.

All that said, that article made me want to continue my steady self-extraction from society.

Christianity has completely changed in the progressive circles.

It's 100% about "all means to the same end", welcoming "refugees", proclaiming that "BLACK LIVES MATTER", etc.

Failing left-wing churches are so dumb and the only way they can stay afloat is to get involved in the "refugee" scam where the gov't pays them to relocate swarthy Moslems into our homeland

No wonder they hate TRUMP so much - he's cutting off their last revenue generator. Meanwhile, conservative churches and non-demonination churches are thriving with the remaining real Christians who are #MAGA as frick, who love TRUMP, and who yearn with an unquenchable thirst to violently retake Constantinople from the filthy, swarthy, backward Moslem swine.

DEUS VULT, PATRIOTS AND FELLOW CHRISTIANS!!!

If I was the headmaster, I'd tell these people to "get fricked".

Correct me if I am wrong, but is not the teaching of sin and its consequences central to Christianity. Why would it be shocking to have a school run by religious to say things in school that are .....religious

It used to be. But there are now too many false prophets like Joel Osteen that purposely avoid the subject all together.

Pretty hard to avoid sin in the teachings of the Bible. When it came to the part in Noah's Ark when God flooded the earth, did he do it to purge the world of the sinners or was it because he was having an off day?

I went to a "modern" church a few times over the past few years.

There's no crosses or bibles anywhere.

The word sin is never mentioned, ever. Neither is heaven or hell.

It's more like a self help seminar than anything religious.

It boggles the minds of atheist too. No clue what the frick this is about. Christianity is supposed to be a path to becoming one with God again. Sin keeps man from the perfection that is being made in God's image. Christ's teachings were about sin and how to be better to one another and sin less to be more with God. To be merciful to those who sin more than yourself since we all fall short of sinless perfection. Sin and Mercy go hand in hand. How do you teach one without the other?

Looks like England now lets you have your pudding if you don't eat your meat.
