Someone needs to bring up impeachment charges.

This is not "good behavior"

Set up a refugee tent city as close to this judges house as possible and route ALL refugees to Hawaii.

It was originally touted as a means to get a handle on vetting who was entering the country as it was, according to DJT, endangering our safety. Are we any closer to a process of "extreme" vetting for visitors that enter our country? Are we safer?

You see. This is what is frustrating. People are so ignorant to the process and form opinions off of talking points. The original stay also precluded trump from initiating the study and working towards a vetting process. If he had done so, you would be in here whining that he ignored a federal judges order.

Exactly. This is so short sighted. What happens when the far right finds an activist judge to put a halt to certain aspects of abortion?

He doesn't care if he's overturned.

SC will overturn.

Someone will take the case back to him under slightly different grounds.

He'll block.

SC will overturn...........rinse repeat.

That's why the only proper response at this point is for the POTUS to tell him to frick himself. The dude is no longer operating as a judge.

As I have said for months if Paul Ryan actually gave a frick about the rule of law he would begin impeachment proceedings against these judges. They aren't even bothering to pretend to rule based on law any more.

Trump should do in this case what Andrew Jackson did in Worcester v. Georgia.

"Mr. Watson has made his decision, now let him enforce it."

These judges not even pretending to be interested in the law anymore.

Spoiler Alert: Trump will win at the Supreme Court, like he has every single time.

There needs to be some sort of "judgeship ethics standards" for this kind of shite.

that judge needs to be kicked in the balls and sent packing.

I still say Trump should make two EO's on the whole refugee/travel ban thing.

1. All restrictions on refugees are here by lifted. Any and all refugees are welcome in the US.

2. Effective immediately all refugees coming to the US will be relocated to the State of Hawaii.

He does not need to do this. As chief executive, Trump is the head of ICE. He can direct ICE to do the following:

The Supreme Court of the United States has established that the Executive Branch has the power to enforce the law. The Supreme Court has ruled that the President and the Executive Branch are within their rights to enact a travel ban from citizens of the following countries:(insert name here). ICE is under the aegis of the Executive Branch. Therefore:

Effective at 12:00:01 on 10/24/2017 this travel ban will take effect. Anyone attempting to land or enter the United States from these countries will be detained at the port of entry until such time as transportation from where the persons immediately embarked from can be arranged. Additionally, I am instructing the Ste Department to instruct US embassies , if they exist in those countries to no longer issue visas as of the time effective EDT on 10/24/2017.

Any point of entry found violating this Executive Order will be immediately shut down and all persons working from those locations deemed non essential will be placed on furlough. Additionally, any and all persons wantonly not complying with this Executive Order will be suspended without pay pending an administrative hearing to determine their continued employment with the Government of the United States.

USDC Judge Derrick Watson's ruling will have no bearing upon this matter going forward.

Regards

Donald J.Trump

I thought the Supreme Court already overruled?

They only ruled that the court case over the previous ban was moot in light of the revised order. I tried to make that clear in the previous threads, but everyone wanted to circlejerk over a nothingburger.

FWIW as I said before, when the ultimately gets to the Court on the merits they will uphold or use a technicality to leave the ban in place without commenting on the merits.
