Have they released the shooters name (I hope they don't)

They're calling him just "the shooter" hopefully they don't release his name, screw this guy

I think Jeff Flake said that he was a mid 40's "dark white person" whatever the f that means.

And if his motivation stems from left wing political views or Islamist terrorism, you expect authorities to share that? If he's a member of a radical left wing group, you trust them to tell us?

Said he was moving with cover, so at least had some sort of training. Now, when you spray 50 rounds in an open field and only hit 4 people, that's not very good percentage wise. Any good ole baw would realize in that situation, a rifle wouldn't have been the most effective weapon of choice. Likely someone with some sort of gun agenda as ironic as that sounds.
I'm really surprised not one Repub was carrying. You fight FOR gun laws every day and don't have a CC in your bag in the dugout? C'mon, man.

You guys don't get it.
Releasing the guy's name will ensure that the public will know as much about him as possible as quickly as possible. Social media postings, organizations he belongs to, where he works, comments from neighbors, etc.
How much would we know about Reality Winner right now if the name hadn't been released?
Do you want to be able to make an informed judgment about his motive, or do you just want to be spoon fed by authorities?

I believe you're right about D.C. but Virginia is a CHP state.
