Yes, our national political discourse has been toxic for many years now.

Yes, it amped up when Trump got elected.

Yes, it went insane in the aftermath of George Floyd.

But what I am seeing on all sides now leading up to 11-3 is unprecedented.

At first it was just online but it is spreading in the real world too.

Neither side will accept the result. There is enormous evidence of voter fraud already.

It is going to get very ugly next week. Make sure you keep your family safe.

The amount of ballot harvesting and cheating is what’s going to ignite a fire. If the right ever loses it, it’s going to be very, very bad

You have less than 1% of the Leftist filth creating all of the havoc and violence. You have one side of the political spectrum supporting and endorsing it.

Criminalize this behavior and hold accountable the politicians supporting it and it would end as quickly as it began.

Until the "Elite" are held to the same criminal standard, nothing will change.

Meh when Trump wins, they’ll wreck sections of their BlueTopia urban areas but never come to the burbs and certainly not to the real countryside.

Nobody is gonna do shite, the second shots are fired it’ll be over. Wanna know why there’s burning and rioting? It’s because nobody is stopping them. The second they face an inch of resistance it’s over. It’s why the national guard ends shite in cities over night.

Weren’t congressmen dueling each other before the civil war?

The issue is that many states are split 50/50 so succession would be nearly impossible.

The difference is most of the hate was previously from the left. The right is finally getting fed up. Big tech, media, rich corporations all teaming up with the left, along with the democrats actively trying to overthrow the government with the help of us intelligence has Infuriated the good law abiding citizens.

It's not North versus South or even Red vs Blue states.

It's urban vs. rural/exurban.

With the suburbs being a mix of the two.

Been saying for quite some time that people need to be prepared to protect their families and themselves. No one in this country is treating this like a "normal" election.

There will be unrest no matter who wins.

People misunderstand the civil war. It wasn’t filled with hating the other side as much as defending their homes. The north had the “moral” argument whereas the south most who fought didnt own slaves but saw the aggression of the north against their homes and land.

There is real Hate for each other now. I believe the “moral” high ground is on the republicans side. It’s not north and south it’s left and right.

I agree. The left has set it up to make it impossible for Trump to win. There is even a rumor that they will use the supposed "increase" in covid cases to shut down the polls on Tuesday. Knowing full well most Republicans like to vote on the actual election day.

We are going to find out on Election Day how many republicans think democrats are going to cheat . Voting on Election Day makes it harder and more obvious that the democrats are cheating. I expect a huge turn out on Election Day . I even know a independent that voted 3rd party in 2016 that is voting Trump on Election Day . He and is wife don’t trust the democrats so they are voting on Election Day.

There is one and only one tipping point:

The rioters/looters going into suburban residential areas. That would light the fuse.

I saw something on tv the other day about the Belfast Peace walls and it made me think about where we are as a country today.

The outright censorship of conservative voices and emboldened media openly saying they will not cover Biden corruption are two toxic measures that increase frustration and disgust.

Union was the most common rationale for soldiers serving in US Army. They wanted to preserve the country that had existed before the war.

People who spoke about slavery generally made the free soil case, arguing that free labor was morally superior to slave labor, while simultaneously arguing that Blacks were inherently inferior to whites.

Outside of radical abolitionists, and there weren’t many, no one wanted blacks moving north, and they didn’t want to die to free the slaves.

That's why I'm glad I live in a smaller city in a red state. I think I'll keep it that way.
