Oh, just saw your location and that you're from his area.

If you know the family and have reservations, that's fine. I was hoping you weren't going to say the Edwin Edwards tree. I just wanted to correct misinformation. If you know the family and feel strongly either way then that's simply your prerogative and I'm not going to try to sway you either way on that.

Run-off between Dardenne and Vitter. Dardenne would probably win a very, very close race.

Scott Angelle is the one to watch in this race.

I agree. He's a good ole boy weasel, so he should be watched.

No thanks.

With that said, I sure as shite don't like him at all and will most likely not vote for him but the favorite is David Vitter. He's been working on this for a long time now and laying the groundwork in with not only his campaign infrastructure but people friendly to his future administration, Bill Cassidy being a good example. He's not going down.

I've heard 2 Poli Sci profs on radio interviews say that Mary can never win a state wide election again. But she could win a spot in the House since her district is not so red.

The Governor's race is over before it even started my friend. No one is going to beat Vitter because if Vitter loses and a local politician doesn't support him you can kiss good-bye any federal dollars to that politicians territory. No democrat has a fighting chance in hell of winning. John Edwards Bel needs to switch parties.

John Bel is the trial lawyer's dream.

Multi generational politician. Brother claims to be the republican sheriff of Tangipahoa Parish. Daddy was the democrat sheriff back in seventies and early eighties. Family got their money from a land grant from the king of France. I will not speculate on the political influence they used to get him in West Point. May not have been any---

Rich, white, liberals--represents a very black district that includes St. Helena Parish. A smooth talking, gun toting, trial lawyer loving, democrat darling political animal.

Vitter does have the upper hand regarding political leader support. I'm sure he's made plenty of friends dolling out federal money. However, that alone does not win elections. If it did, Mary would still have a job.

This will be one of the more interesting governor races we've had in a while.
