He's black?

I never noticed.

Me either. Now I have to start opposing warrantless spying and drone strikes, and I have to be angry about losing my health insurance.

No, but it's a good talking point for certain people.

Only because he says things that piss off some white people. Not because he incites black people to do much of anything, imo.

He's been divisive.

Intentionally so? Or is his community organizing/agitator background so ingrained in his DNA that he can't help it?

Doesn't matter. Obama has turned out to be exactly what his thoughtful political opponents said he would be. None of what we have seen from Obama is a surprise. We always knew that any and all thoughtful criticism of anything he said or did would be condemned as the racist ramblings of an unhinged hater.

Those whom have always loved Obama will say NOT divisive. They will say that Obama's efforts to bring awareness to Racist America are noble. They will say Obama is courageous for raising awareness because the haters will always create a backlash of attack.

So, for all time, there will be two sides of this coin.

If Obama has truly attempted to bring Unity to our society ordered Liberty, I have two things to say: first, POTUS should focus on more concrete problems and issues; second, Obama's attempts to bring Unity have been inartfully conceived and executed, and have back-fired on occasions.
