I can't wait until next January when NO OBAMA APPOINTEE will ever make it through the Senate -- including Supreme Court nominees. All thanks to Harry Reid and this nuclear option that scum like Rex love so much -- at least NOW.

As I said...shortsighted.

I'm not usually one to spike any footballs, but I think I'm going to bookmark this thread for when this backfires on the Dems.

No. It means that Obama appoints judges that share his same legal philosophy.

You're right here. His legal philosophy is to make it up as he goes along. Doesn't matter what the laws say. He appoints judges who feel the same.

It's going to be so funny when they kick Obama out of the White House with 51 senators.

As MOST legal scholars and Federal justices agree, the intent of the law and other language within the law makes it clear that a Federal exchange can fully take the place of a state exchange when a state elects not to conduct one.

el oh el... because this was such a black and white issue as well as other rulings maybe in favor of "liberal" ideas.

Plus, you dont think conservatives judges bend legal beliefs to fit into thier political beliefs?

Yes, that's quite a laugh since the Constitution requires a two thirds majority.

I wonder if you will be as supportive of the nuclear option when the other side uses it in the future.

You admit that Reid's action effectively took the blindfold off the scales of justice, yet you rejoice.

Because Rex sees the rule of law as a political tool to get what he wants rather than an end in itself.

Exactly what do you think a Republican speaker can do with the nuclear option when there's a sitting Democrat president?
