But his job to his family and his employees requires him to drive as many listeners to his radio show and/or viewers to his TV show.
Since I'm don't work for or are related to him, I want to know now too, damn it!

Except I, and many others, refuse to watch his show because he does this so much. I just check reddit or TD every now and then since they'll tell me what he said in the rare instance he ever conveys anything of substance.

I cannot stand him. I know he is on my side of the political spectrum, but he is an embarrassment. I usually watch whatever the leading show is - now it is Tucker Carlson - and if they announce an interesting guest, I will watch him after he is done with his dumb opening statement.
I have never heard him put forth an original thought or an ad hoc analysis - noting but stale talking points. I could sit here this morning and write 90% of the scripted stuff he will say tonight.

I find his show rather cringeworthy as well but it takes all kinds in this world and since we're about 2/3 of the way to full-on idiocracy his show has its place.

Perhaps so - but I just prefer someone who makes an attempt to counter a debate opponents points - someone like Tucker Carlson to some extent or Shapiro as the best example - rather than just interrupting with a string of bumper sticker re-hash.
As I said - I have never ever seen/heard Hannity make a cogent point in response to a real time comment.
Of course he doesn't have real debate opponents on very often - mostly, from what I remember, he plays clips of what they said and then responds to that with bullshite regurgitation.
