Homeschoolers are on the spectrum - from the very conservative to the very liberal. Here in Maryland I've met some from every group. Their inability to function socially has nothing to do with their schooling method. The homeschoolers I've met and have the privilege to be friends with are highly gifted both academically and socially, are polite, helpful and thoughtful. Perfect? Of course not. They, too, like to look at their cell phones and text and tweet and whathaveyou with their friends.
As for this being a fringe example, it's not. My friends who have kids in public school have more tales like this one and others than I care to count. Your authority as a parent stops at the school entrance. Your arguments and ideas fall on deaf ears. And your kid will be called racist....even if she's Asian. Or having 'white privilege' even if the parents hold down 4 jobs between them. No, not fringe at all! Sadly!

Don't have to worry about this kind of crap at private school. School knows parents would pull their kids out of the school with a quickness and take that tuition money somewhere else.

This has been my experience of homeschooled people I've met in life.
They are not "majorly screwed up" but they certainly lack people skills.
There's something to be said for being in a school environment...kids can be cruel and blantantly honest and that's the most important thing to learn from school - adversity - not diversity.

I agree. Anyone who willingly tries to frick with a bunch of innocent kid's heads for political reasons is this country's worst enemy. And Trump is the president of this country.

Rule Number One when dealing with high schoolers and sensational topics: kids lie or, at the very least, exaggerate. BUt Todd Starnes will believe anything that fits his preconceived notions/agenda.
