I'll assume this is sarcasm, so ha-ha.
I did go ahead and read it, and thanks for posting it.
But I've been told repeatedly and in no uncertain terms, by a highly (self)respected authority, that if it's the work of Bodi White, then it cannot possibly be good.
And apparently, I need a new monitor, because the dots don't connect as plainly on mine as they do for some people.

Well, you'll have to that issue up with you-know-who. I'm just trying to interject some information into the catfight.
As for the St. George movement itself, I think they would do themselves a huge favor by more precisely defining their issues/complaints with the school system as it exist as well as their solutions. Same for tax revenue, legacy costs, etc. Just my 2 cents.
I'm also surprised by how many people don't realize how many agencies exist and are funded parish-wide (library, BREC to name two), what's funded by property tax, what's funded by sales tax, etc. Maybe some good will come from these discussions, and folks will look into where their tax money goes.

in GFunk's mind since Delgado fooled those sheeple and got elected and now represents my district, I'm somehow connected to him.
You're a liar, I've never made that statement and never thought it. It is ironic you would line up and blast White's motives based on past behavior and not do the same based on what you've seen of Delgado.
But aside from the irony, stop your lying. We BOTH know you don't have a link anywhere to back up what you're lying about here.

I had time to read through the bill and it appears to me to be a good outline which allows each district within the parish system autonomy and for more neighborhood control since districts are smaller.
I think it could improve education and benefit the parish.
