I'll give her credit for at least apologizing, but in the end, she got exactly what she wanted (her name in the news again) and I doubt she is sorry for that

I don't know. She seemed sincere...or as sincere as a celebrity can be.

She looks rough, though. I mean, real rough.

She's not 5 years old. Just saying sorry doesn't cut it when you're an adult. I think she commited a crime and should be arrested for it. If someone did that with Obama they'd be in jail and beat

I believe there is video of her and the photographer laughing about backlash of this photo. Guess she is not laughing now.

She knew exactly what she was doing.
That apology is hollow.

“We have to leave for Mexico today because we’re going to go to prison, federal prison,” Griffin said to the photographer after high-fiving him after the shoot was done. “Call your dad, apologize… let’s go to Mexico today, because we’re not surviving this.”

There's a difference between sorrow because of negative consequences and repentance because you know what you did was wrong (regardless of the consequences). Whether she is actually sorrowful or not, this was a planned stunt and she doesn't regret what she did. She's following her agent's advice in order to save some face with her pals in Hollywood and the media because what she did was extreme, even for what the left is known for.

The Secret Service has released a statement:

quote:

"The U.S. Secret Service has a critical mission. It is always unfortunate when people make statements that could be perceived as threats. We don't have the luxury of knowing a person's intent. Each alleged or perceived threat has to be investigated thoroughly, which taxes Secret Service manpower and resources that could be utilized elsewhere."

At a minimum, she should be billed accordingly.

It was a publicity stunt, nothing more. Of course, it worked

Yep, this was completely planned, including the fake apology.

It was a ridiculously stupid photo, and she deserves consequences & criticisms, BUT what crime did she commit?

we don't know yet, that's why we need an investigation.

See how utterly fricking ridiculous that sounds?

I believe that is currently being investigated.
