please elaborate on this. It’s very (intentionally) vague
Just as vague as is all the "doctors" on this board who don't state their name or their board license.

Weak rebuttal.
Working in pharma can mean anything from being a receptionist at Pfizer to a researcher.
Saying you’re an ER doc but leaving out your name and license number is obviously different.

I was in management at a private equity firm that fully owned several pharma companies. We built and sold pharma companies around pharmaceuticals. We got in to early round investing (controlling interest) in promising candidates and took several of them public. The value of our portfolio of products, companies, and investments in pharma was north of $3B. The most promising drugs are still in the study phase.

So you're in finance. Got it.
I am also "in pharma." I have spent 20+ years in clinical research, both at small biotechs, mid-sized pharma, and now at a leading contract research organization directly responsible for $200+MM in contracted phase II-III clinical trials including some COVID treatments. My company has >$1B in COVID trials in the last year. To say this stuff isn't tested or researched is silly... pharma companies aren't just paying us to post on TD ;)
The COVID treatment and vaccine research has been robust, but streamlined. It's amazing what we can do when everyone is truly focused on getting shite done and not haggling over contract language for 6 months, scrambling for funding, etc.

Jesus, vaccines don't provide immunity from viruses. They provide protection from viruses.
Live or inactivated vaccines aren't commonly used in the United States anymore because sometimes they don't weaken the virus or inactivate the virus and people can get the disease.
Live or inactivated vaccines are used in Russia more commonly.
And just about everything you said is wrong. Not tested? We've had it since March or April and it has been injected since that time.
Honestly NC tried to discuss with you but you just are about as clueless as I have seen in this board.
Get it or don't get it. I legit don't care because my family has all gotten it already. Before my family got it, I loved guys like you because you desire not to get it allowed my family to get it quicker.
But everyone in my family has it so I no longer care.
But please try to stop spouting off just the most ridiculous ideas I've ever seen. Yes, I think that statement is true.
These kinds posts are just so wrong and inaccurate that they may sit on top of that high mountain of stupid things said on this board.

quote:Here is the Oxford Dictionary definition of vaccine:
A *vaccine* inserts a small amount of live virus in order to organically create antibodies that can then serve to proactively fight the real virus.
"A substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease."

No. I actually do. What the entire world is injecting into their bodies is still largely experimental and largely unnecessary for all but the oldest, frailest people. All facts.
I do appreciate your activism though. Nice job.

Is this thread devolving into every participant pretending they're the chief etymologist at Johns Hopkins?

Yea. That kind of says what a vaccine has been forever until it was redefined to mean any shite that big pharma comes up with. So what's your point other than proving my point?

The fact that he lied about being the top chief science officer at Pfizer is the first big red flag.
He was the CSO of the division that is directly responsible for respiratory disease. Seems pretty cogent, no?

Unfortunately most people have taken the jab and don’t want to hear anything negative about them that could actually save their lives!
Odd study of human behavior/defense the I saw in ‘08 housing market when those that bought homes didn’t want to hear market could collapse soon
Nobody wants to admit they made a mistake but the truly smart successful people certainly do have that quality

Okay? Weird start but let's see where this goes.

It is in my genetics so why would I want to go messing with it with some unapproved shot.
What? We are going off the rails already. We vaccinate against many things that won't kill us. The "shot" is approved by the FDA and was done so quickly by removing the "red tape" you guys constantly bitch and complain about.

Most so called vaccines are developed using animal tissue
And? You do realize you are an animal right? You just wear shoes and are aware of your own mortality.
quote:
God made me a human being not part of the animal kingdom which he gave man dominion over.
Mother of god. You cannot honestly be this retarded. This has to be a troll.
