You should find them and throw something of theirs away. Do it while they're taking a piss. That'll show them.

Chief, lighten up.

I challenge you to link us to your posts complaining about conservative Gov workers posting mean things about Obama.

I'll hang up and listen.

I worked for Obama while in the military, I wasn't his biggest fan. I personally don't care what federal employees have on their social media. I will say, however, i probably would have gotten in trouble with similar social media posts.

And that would have been complete bullshite to reprimand you about postings to your private accounts.

The two fed gov employees I know who travel the country for a regulatory agency have been told to not book any new trips.

Water cooler talk is that some big time regs are completely going away. Not just a scale back or loosening of restrictions.

I applaud this approach. Fed gov distributes all this money then saddles it with enough regulations that require a fortune to follow. In a lot of cases, the grantee would have been better off without the money at all.

Some are charades (fed gov acting as a pseudo employment agency) and others have good intentions going in but underestimate the true costs associated with complying to regs.

Don't think of it as treason. Think of it as them volunteering to cut spending in their agency by however much their compensation is.

Nobody is advocating for them to go to jail. We are just suggesting that they put their money where their hashtag is and help trim the fat from the federal budget. They would be better off finding a job at a Starbucks or Barnes and Noble anyway.

Are they posting from their personal accounts? Yeah, that should be a fire-able offense. I would get fired if I complained about my CEO?

Plenty of private sector does this. I think I signed something stating I understood I was not to do so.

Biggest lie told on this board today. If a federal employee has not my president on his social media he or she deserves to be fired. It has nothing to do with the first amendment. It's disparaging your employer and disrespecting the taxpayer.

You know I'm the bathrooms at the office has 4 posters with rules regarding whistle blowers. First time in my 7 years I've seen anything like this.

Found it a little interesting given the circumstances.
