to quickly push his full agenda through.

One of the big problems here is that it is impossible to discern what the “full agenda” consists of. Up to now it has been to grab greater power, make government actions more secretive, and do stupid virtue signaling stuff for things that aren’t problems. If all we get from the Republican supermajority is a childish king of Louisiana, we need to change some names on the offices in Baton Rouge.

frick Jeff Landry. His voters are just as retarded as Joe Biden’s in my opinion. Anyone who didn’t see shite like this coming is blind.

Honest question: what bad/DEI/woke things has Tate done while here?

I'd suspect he is applying fertilizer to DEI across the campus instead of the weed killer that's needed.

I'd take your concerns more seriously if you held them about the federal government under Democratic leadership.

Seems what's pissing you off is that conservatives are starting to do the same thing.

This is what most governors do in most states

These are our universities.

I rather an elected official who is held accountable by the voters, to be in charge of my state-funded university, than unelected Commie scum who dominate our higher education in America

And you idiots are falling for propaganda written by socialist “journalists”

“Darn Landry, an elected official, trying to appoint our supervisors!”

“We want our supervisors chosen by commies!”

Yeah! It worked well for Huey Long!

And if we don't like it, we can always vote him out!

Lost in your discussion of university boards, is that Landry is also pushing to have unfettered appointment of 7 of 11 members of the Board of Ethics.

The board that oversees campaign finance regulations and conflict of interest violations. What could possibly go wrong?

He is also pushing for the people to not get to vote on amendments to the constitution and for public records to be private.

That’s wonderful.

What happens when they next Dem gets elected and is able to push through some crazy agenda through all levels of the state.

There are two sides to this coin.

Landry could bring peace to the middle east and many of these retards will accuse him of pandering.

I know plenty people that were some of Landry's biggest supporters and have now done a complete 180. Not sure if they would go as as vote for a democrat in the next election but if this keeps up, who knows,

There’s legislation also being pushed through the legislature now to give the governor full authority to appoint all state Supreme Court justices and all members of the public service commission.

So, basically the legislature is trying to get a Supreme Court and Public Service Commission wholly owned by ExxonMobil.

Imagine believing that pandering on nonsense issues isn't Jeff Landry's go-to move.

If he focus/delivered on anything besides social issues people wouldn’t continue to accuse him of pandering.

Education, healthcare, crime, economics, infrastructure, tort reform?

Nah, just pass constitutional carry to distract from the fact he has solely focused on expanding his power, and then work as hard as possible to keep the public from knowing what he is doing.

Present LSU in a positive light since it is one of the few things that draws national attention to Louisiana in a good way?

Nah, instead go on Fox News and double down about the national anthem and how LSU should remove scholarships from players who refuse.

Landry is also calling for a Constitutional Convention where he has the sole authority to appoint all 27 non-legislative delegates to the Constitutional Convention.

Yeah, no authoritarian overreach there.

Will all 27 of them be Shane Guidry?
