Hit the banner and the list resets and Edison is back at #1.

Crisis averted.

I had a huge argument once with some black folks over this.

We won.

No.

Which adds to the extreme weirdness of the list.

My man! ??
Best DQ Blizzard ever had in my life was Nutter Butter about 10 years ago when it was the blizzard of the month. Stuff is like crack!?? & though I've pleaded for it's return, no dice. Now this is a matter truly worthy of protest my fellow Americans

Didn't invent peanut butter, just promoted several ways it could be used. This is a myth promoted by black twitter.

Jonas Salk was like the 38th person on that list. I had to scroll over 3 times to find him.

Am I missing something? Why are we assuming that this list is a rank of importance?

Yet, when you Google US Inventors he is first. LINK

I can't imagine why your list is filled predominantly with African-AMERICAN Inventors. It's almost as if an official racial designation that uniquely includes American has something to do with it.

Most people still incorrectly believe Edison invented the light bulb.

I read a reddit post that said the algorithm gets fricked up when you type "American inventors" because it's so heavily similar to "African American inventors".. when you type US Inventors it's normalized like it should be. Also apparently you because so many people do projects on black investors for black history month and she's the results.

Let's hope this is true, if not this is straight up terrifying. I wouldn't put anything g past these Fulkerson though...

Good point -- a lot of servers run on Greenwich time. Already February across the pond.
