Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) called for a Department of Justice investigation of Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D-VA) and Charlottesville, VA Mayor Michael Signer for possibly facilitating the violence that took place in Charlottesville earlier this month.
Gohmert said, “The way forward’s not gonna be easy. And I think the Justice Department needs a full investigation of the governor, of the mayor. They said in court there would be violence at Charlottesville, and then the witnesses and the photographs show they herded these groups to create violence so they could brag. We need a Justice Department investigation into Kessler. You don’t just go all of a sudden from having multiracial roommates and a Jewish girlfriend to all of a sudden being a white supremacist that wants to join the Republican party. There’s something very, very wrong in all of this.”
He added, “Like they were the violence at Trump events, they may have been behind this violence getting started. They facilitated it, anyway.”

What's funny is that Trump and McAuliffe are actually good friends. He had some really nice things to say about the President during the governors ball in DC.

Is this a joke? They're were literally neo-nazis jumping into crowds with make-shift weapons. Also the night before chanting "JEWS WILL NOT REPLACE US", with shirts heiling hitler. Also a Neo-Nazi who fricking ran over 20 people and killed 1. But somehow its the Gov's fault because a place fricking exploded with tension?

The fact that you are so hysterical tells me that Gohmert is on to something and is correct: The Left instigated this thing and the cops had orders to stand down.
Serious charges that warrant thorough investigation. Also, we need to find out whether any of the "Nazis" are undercover FBI agents and if so, whether any of them shouted Nazi slogans or carried Nazi signs or symbols.
I have a hunch that about half of the "Nazis" here in the USA are either paid confidential informants for the police or undercover FBI.

You're right, it would be good. I was more pointing towards the fact that this guy was trying to say that it was a surprise that white supremacists haven't hid the fact that they are. Acting as if having a black roommate and jewish girlfriend has anything to do with it?

It does not matter how disgusting their political views are, in this country, they have a right to express them publicly.
The counterprotesters should have been kept away by the police.
