So all of these Anaheim protests are actually over a gang of "teens" who tried to play Gran Torino on an off-duty cop. As usual the lib media jumps to conclusion, and as usual the officer was completely justified in doing what he should have done. Cali is fricked though when you have jackasses like this punk's mom defending the kid.

quote:

Crowds of people gathered on Wednesday night to protest against an off-duty cop who was caught on camera pulling and firing his gun as he scuffled with a 13-year-old outside his home in Anaheim, California. The protests were sparked after a video that was filmed on Tuesday afternoon emerged showing the confrontation between the off-duty LAPD cop and a large gang of teens who he had apparently accused of walking on his lawn. The confrontation ends with the officer pulling his gun out and firing a shot that did not hit anyone as the teens flee. Before that, the officer was filmed struggling with one teen who he accused of threatening to shoot him, then scuffling with the entire group of teens outside his home.

Was he trying to drag the kid back onto his property? I wonder why? Strategery.

Cop seems like a dickhead. Kid probably is too but still.

Judging by this picture that's 6 against 1. That's Disparity of force and lethal force is justified even in a fricked up liberal la la land like California.

If you watch the video, it shows the kid (and his crew) initiating things by not responding to the guy's call for them to leave. The kid in the pic then instigates things with the officer.

I worked with that officer.
He is a good guy and wouldn't use force unless he threatened.
I think they need to pick these kids up and drop them off on Crenshaw Blvd for the day.

Good on the officer. He did the right thing.

One thing to keep in mind about the police. They will bull their way through and control any situation. You can count on that.

You would have to think the threshold is much lower when you can't easily engage all the assailants.

The gang members are too stupid to see that.

You need to watch the entire video. The teenagers laid low while he assaulted the other. They were finally trying to get him to let go of the teen who was pleading. . When he pulled his gun, any of the teens would have been justified in shooting him

CA is an overpriced, overtaxed, sanctuary city/state cesspool.

Just saw an interview with the teens mother, apparently the teen wasn't saying, 'I'm going to shoot you'..he was saying, 'I'm going to sue you'.

Right.

You must have watched another video.

That one guy didn't jump across the hedge lying down.

Is it just me or did that strike anyone else as an AD. It seemed he was struggling with the kid with his free hand on his weapon and it went off. I do not think it was intentional.

Hard to say wth was going on but he probably should not have had his weapon out.

Once the other perp jumped over the hedge he was flanked. I bet he was taught to react that way.

So middle school kids walking home from school are gang members now?

The cop lost control.

Yes. They were bum rushing him finally to try and get him to release the kid. They did nothing for a long time while the man was clearly trying to drag the kid off for lord knows what. Cop was obviously on some power trip. Now he will be investigated.

Again I ask: why was the cop dragging the kid slowly back to his property. Looks like he chased the kid to another yard and caught him then tried to bring him back.

I've watched the vid a couple of times. Officer let his emotions get the best of him and took things too far. Pulling a gun in that situation is insane.

Though I'm sure it must be frustrating to have a bunch of untouchable little shits trespassing on your property with impunity. Western border cities are having the same problem with minorities taking over the public school system as southern schools--just a different minority.
