I 100% support the right of companies to do this.

The problem comes in because the government SELECTIVELY protects people from discrimination.

A company should also be able to prioritize men if that's their preference.

This is also a good example of the fact that liberals don't really oppose discrimination

GE still needs to apologize for Obama's Presidency.

They are also fully on board with segregation initiated by any race other than white.

I forget. Where are all the laws that say women can't major in STEM degrees? I keep misplacing them.

Lol they won't be American women

GE can adapt. They can put little round mirrors on the side of the computer monitors so the girls can check their make up and hair.

LOL< GE already imports so much of its work force from India, it's ridiculous. Every toyota corolla driving up and down the street where the corp office is in Marietta has 4-5 indians in it. Yeah, as others have mentioned, they will just add female indians.

Agree, but it's such a waste of resources. I work in the ag sector and my company bends over backwards, spending untold millions on female and AA outreach. The problem is, females and AAs could give two shits about ag. And it's all done as a CYA to keep lawyers off of them.

Here is a little sectret, america. Corporations really don't give a shite about employee demographics. If you can earn, you will always have an opportunity.

Larry Summers was fired from his job as president of Harvard for a casual comment where he suggested that maybe there is some difference between men and women that accounts for the much smaller number of women choosing STEM education, and perhaps someone should study that.
