Yeah the guy is a turd but isn't it amazing how quickly DOJ can prosecute anybody with a (R) next to their name?

Serious questions about his finances also surfaced — including the source of what he claimed was a quickly amassed fortune despite recent financial problems, including evictions and owing thousands of dollars in back rent.

You think the charges against Santos are fabricated?
That is one hell of a hill to die on.
Losing Santos won't cost the R's the majority. It would weaken McCarthy, which I thought most of the board was OK with.

Well obvious doesn’t matter.
Hell.. the sitting president admitted in a live interview that he actually did what democrats claimed Trump did and impeached him for it.
His son lost a laptop full of incriminating foreign business deals that were only made due to who his father was and plainly has wound up implicating most of his family.
Swalwell was obviously compromised when he was fricking a Chinese spy. While he was on the intelligence committee.
Ray Epps obviously instigated the crowd on Jan 6th as evidenced in multiple videos.
So obvious isn’t the answer.

The early reports suggest that he solicited specific donations, promised that if certain large donations were made, that the money would be spent on television advertising. When the donors made the donations, he transferred the money to his personal account.
Stuff like that.
Sounds like his donors are the ones driving this.

A 13-count criminal indictment. The charges include seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives.
Among the many counts:
1,200 payments of $199.99, two cents below the threshold where receipts would be required.
Uhh....
If it's about politics, just let the electorate elect another Republican. This guy set an even lower bar for politicians. A clear fraud. Don't see where anyone could like the guy or support him.
