Yeah, they just voted-only 3 people voted against. I thought that was for getting the wavier legislation drafted, but I was only half-listening.

Will do! Thanks for the feedback. I know several families that are building these hearings into their (homeschool) civics courses. Good stuff! Also intend to do more research into each individual and look at their reading lists, etc. I know Mattis is an avid reader, especially of history. It's great when an appointee is a person of substance and not a political empty hat.

THe analogy I would use is that the current administratoin has hired 'C" students to tell the 'A and B " students what to do.
The contrast between Sessions, Tillerson and Mattis with what we have now is striking.
As a Michigan guy, I feel the same way I did the day we hired Harbaugh: "so we had Hoke and ROdriguez and now we have Harbuagh?!?". Elation would be the proper term.
