Can't repeal healthcare straight out as it gives Dems ammo that can turn into seats.

Can't keep healthcare for all, because uh, it's a pipe dream.

What the frick do u do

The easy and correct answer is work to improve the issues with Obamacare. But then weird arse lookin' loud mouth Republicans didn't run on that platform the last 8 years so they kinda fricked themselves I guess.

Very few politicians are not in it for the power and money. Of course, the vast majority of republicans and democrats are the same. Hell, look at the ideologue Sanders. He sold out quicker than a two dollar whore.

In your perverted world view, do people like Rand Paul just go out of their way to kick puppies on the side of the road?

I assume this thread was promoted by the healthcare bill failure. In that regard, what were you wanting to happen?

There are subtle differences between the two ....the GOP likes the idea of there being 50 million fewer people with healthcare but being treated anyway while democrats like the idea of everyone having basic health care.

Squishy moderate Republicans are the same as democrats.

Not enough of the good ones can get elected, too many "Govt is God,I want a handout" constituencies in the voting public

and that includes anybody who wants special help from the govt.

This is nonsense.

They've been OPENLY talking about repealing Obamacare for years.

And now they both houses and the executive.

Republicans are sometimes just really stupid when it comes to politics. "Oh no........there's some scary polls!!!".

Pahfrickinglease. 99% of Americans have no idea what they REALLY think will happen with any new bill.

If you genuinely believe your idea is best, fricking do it.

I mean, ya know. If you're right, you shouldn't lose seats.

If you're wrong, you should.

Who cares how long it takes and what process it took? If they arrived, who gives a shite about the path they took?

How is that funny?

Stupid "look at me" thread

Lazy???...they work about 140 days a year for about 175K not counting bennies. Thats about $1250/day worked. If that doesn't scream "public servant" I don't know what does.

Ron paul was not sabotaged.

revisionist history.

His best showing in a primary was 24% of idaho.
Its not like he had 49% and had 5,000 absentee turn up two days later.
No close ones. None.
0.

Holding onto delusion that civil rights act unnecessary made him radioactive even among white gop voters. Dude is missing a key piece of his common sense gene.

Establishment is all the same. Lobbyists donate to who they know will win states and districts. Party doesn't matter and they often donate to both competitive campaigns. And then those politicians spend their lives in Washington DC pushing those lobbyists wants.

We desperately need Lobbyist reform in this country.

Not even close. Diametrically opposed belief systems...Socialist v Robber Barons, neither which are effective at anything, leaving Joe Shmoe in the middle, to be shite on.

I guess trying to fix an utterly unsustainable open ended entitlement program is cruel, huh?
