Remember now, I'm retired. I'm going to have to drop down from that six figure quote I gave you down to five. Hope that doesn't break our deal.

By then, as long as it has warm hands, don't care.

Seriously, why isn't there a general news station with as good of quality/non-bull shite as CNBC.

A better question is why do you watch news on TV? Like having things read to you?

This makes perfect sense being that Fox News statistically leads the ratings each week and Fox's viewers were not successful in the last election eliminating the country from the liberal vomit that plagues us. You are effectively saying the high IQ people like yourself have contributed in the run away train wreck that is the Democratic Party and the Obama administration. I am effectively saying that the facts here completely dispute all of your claims.

So by acknowledging Fox and MSNBC as the cesspools they are I am now an Obama supporter? Man you really got me pegged.

As far as "facts", you may want to go back a couple pages to the Pew studies.

Fox News is controlled opposition. They are as establishment as any liberal station, and owned by the same people.

Why would you watch TV to get news?

used to watch fox all the time. however, I quit last year because every fricking word was "Obama".

same thing with Walton & Johnson. had to quit listening to them too.

I agreeat FoxNews has really jumped the shark. It's mostly faux-conservative neocons playing the victim card.

That being said...

I find it amusing that liberals I know object just as adamantly as conservatives I know when I assert that Fox News and MSNBC are roughly equitable in hackery

Fox News just panders to the lowest common denominator. It knows its audience and panders to their fears and political ideologies.

MSNBC is just angry, vitriolic, hateful tirade after tirade about strawman caricatures of anyone and everyone who isn't as far to the left of center as possible.

"I don't endorse the antics on the left--I'm not pro-left. However, there's a huge difference between MSNBC and Fox News. MSNBC is super shrill and hyper, Fox News is just straight up fantasy BS."

That's a post from another board I post on, directed at me. I'm just saying, it's always important to keep one's bias in mind when making value judgments

There are few shows on Fox that are watchable. Red Eye might be the greatest show in the history of cable news. That being said:

Fox & Friends is by far the worst program on the station.

It's watchable for laughs. It reminds me of a bad tabloid.
