For the war mongering Trumpkins

Those of you that have supported Trump's plans to expand our military involvement across the ME and in Asia should read the article in the WSJ linked below.
I was hopeful Trump would keep his campaign promises to get us out of some wars but he has not.
Brothers in Arms: The Tragedy in Small-Town America
Puts a face on your rhetoric.
We should get Americans out of the Middle East tomorrow. We should tell SK and Japan "here are you some weapons you deal with NK".
Not another drop of US blood should be spilled unless the purpose is clearly in direct defense of the USA.

Brothers in Arms: The Tragedy in Small-Town America
quote:
Mike Goski stared into the steel casket at his twin brother’s body, dressed for eternity in a deep-blue Marine Corps jacket with red piping and brass buttons. It was like looking into a cruel mirror, Chris’s face, so like his own, distorted by a wound the mortician couldn’t conceal.
Alone together for the last time, Mike slipped a knife into his brother’s hand, a weapon for Valhalla, the mythical refuge for fallen warriors.
Chris was a born fighter from Red Oak, Texas, a Marine commando with six tours of duty. In combat, he could orchestrate from the chaos a lethal strike by jet fighters, helicopters, mortar and artillery, raining hot metal on enemies a few hundred yards away.
At the cemetery, as “Taps” played, comrades of the Goski twins stood at attention, Marines in white hats and Special Forces in green berets. Mike, an Army Special Forces patch on his own shoulder, asked that none cry.

Heavy Burden
Per capita, nearly twice as many small-town Americans have died at war since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks compared with those from large metro areas.
Puts a face on your rhetoric.

Your thread title invites quality discussion

Don't even care. Gorsuch is the primary reason I voted Trump.

No "Trumpers" that I know of are "war mongering". One of the primary reasons some of us supported him is because he explicitly promised NOT to keep engaging in pointless wars.

GFY is the response you seek.

Good thing he didn't want any discussion. Just to get his point across with a dig a Trump voters thrown in.

I voted Trump to slow down the deterioration of western values and American culture by the left. Couldn't give less of a frick about some war in the middle East. That region will always be littered with wars. From thousands of years ago until now there has been continuous wars over there.

Next thing you will do is request a body count ticker at the top of the page.

I really like the part where he's been scaling back the war effort. He also wants to spend much more on the military which is ludicrous

The WSJ is probably the most conservative of all the major newspapers.
Posted on 9/22/17 at 12:52 pm to SirWinston
But he has done just the opposite--he has dramatically expanded spending on defense, he was expanded our involvement in Syria and Afghanistan and is threatening war in North Korea. He is even saber rattling over the Ukraine.

I B's hate for Trump has pushed him over the edge.
The SS might want to keep an eye on ole Lee Harvey.

Who is the idiot that thinks the WSJ is not one of the most conservative major publications in the US?

Over what edge???
You "Trump can do no wrong" minions are simpletons that do not hold the people you vote for accountable for the promises they made.
I voted for Trump BTW.
