I wanted to join the navy. Wanted to fly planes. My vision isn't good enough. Crushed my dreams.
But just because you were navy and I wasn't, it doesn't give you the right to bash the branch of service that my cousin died in and most of my family served in.
You are a disgrace to the Navy, IMO.

Fact is that in our history whatever the largest immigration group was the one "who shouldn't be here, were dirty, were stupid, were costing too much, were taking our jobs away". It was the Irish in the east and south, Chinese in the west. None of this is new, it's happened cycle after cycle in our country. We managed to survive all of that (and some of us are very happy we did since our ancestors were part of the unwanted). Some of what happened in those years wasn't anything to be proud of but we got past it. We'll get through this too if certain politicians would step up to the plate and work on immigration reform.
