And by the end of Trump's presidency (2024) we will still be right here where we are.

Investigating and seeing no results for what we the people already know

Page 238, there was a footnote on the initial Carter Page FISA warrant and all renewals that said the FBI determined Steele hadn't leaked to Yahoo News - this was a lie all 4 times.

The Swamp has spoken.....the infamous "No Intent" BS excuse. The FBI/DOJ did nothing politically nefarious.....spying on the Trump campaign was proper and necessary, if the Swamp System is to survive the law must be bastardized.

Priestap stated that he considered whether the FBI should conduct defensive briefings for the Trump campaign but ultimately decided that providing such briefings created the risk that "if someone on the campaign was engaged with the Russians, he/she would very likely change his/her tactics and/or otherwise seek to cover-up his/her activities, thereby preventing us from finding the truth." We did not identify any Department or FBI policy that applied to this decision and therefore determined that the decision was a judgment call that Department and FBI policy leaves to the discretion of FBI officials.

Didn't brief Trump because FBI made a "judgment call"

Barr going in dry, just released a Statement, definitely different from Horowitz findings.

"low threshold"

Just lol

For similar reasons, as we detail in Chapter Three, we concluded that the quantum of information articulated by the FBI to open the individual investigations on Papadopoulos, Page, Flynn, and Manafort in August 2016 was sufficient to satisfy the low threshold established by the Department and the FBI.

Page 240, list of things Steele changed from reporting of his sub-source (who was also interviewed by the FBI).

All 3 renewals relied on the Steele version of events that were incorrect.

As a result of the 17 significant inaccuracies and omissions we identified, relevant information was not shared with, and consequently not considered by, important Department decision makers and the court, and the FISA applications made it appear as though the evidence supporting probable cause was stronger than was actually the case. We also found basic, fundamental, and serious errors during the completion of the FBl's factual accuracy reviews, known as the Woods Procedures, which are designed to ensure that FISA applications contain a full and accurate presentation of the facts.
