Yes, Thats exactly it. Do you assume that because Congress passes a bill it is good? Think for yourself man. THINK.....

We need less government, not more
We need less government spending, not more
Less government oversight, not more
We need less government surveillance, not more

The Johnson bills are all more of the above, not less. So yes, don't bring things to the floor that will pass.

The strange thing is MTG was the voice of reason the first time around. She said just stick with McCarthy and fight other battles.

I'm torn between wanting it all burned down and thinking this is a clown show. I thought the removal of McCarthy was worth demonstrating what a vocal minority can do, but I'd probably get behind Johnson now.

What's the point of 'winning' if you get warrantless searches of American citizens?

A Constitution Party candidate would never do that. A Libertarian Party candidate would never do that.

Of course not. But that is mostly because no one from either party will ever be elected to national office.

Ironic they said the same thing about some of the greatest minds during the renaissance, the age of discovery, and many trying times throughout history.

Exactly.

This is the democrat's definition of compromise

Wife says she wants to get a cat.
Husband says he is alergic to cats.
So they compromise and GET A CAT!

I was thinking about this. It seems as though the problem with the speaker position for Republicans may be who the advisors to the speaker are from the Republican party. It's very strange that Republicans can go through so many speakers and everyone turns out as incompetent mirrors of each other. This has to be much deeper problem the person holding the title.

The completely inept legislative strategy is always the same with the same result. At this point, Johnson has to shut down the house until Mayorkas is told to resign or Johnson has to go.

Schumer just spit in his face with the impeachment dismissal and that cannot stand. If Johnson brings funding bill to the floor, he has to go. This cannot stand anymore.

Because their policy stances are clearly defined in their party platforms.

Nope. Because sheep like yourself need to have it hit rock fricking bottom before making the change you know you need to make.

The problem with that approach is when someone steps in to the leadership position of speaker, and they actually have to govern, which involves compromise from time to time, everyone of you with the “burn it down” attitude wants to fire them. Eventually, you will run out of people.

Heck, even you would be fired when you figured out that you couldn’t do what you wanted, when you wanted, how you wanted, 100% of the time. It’s called reality.

The weak link isnt the politican, its the voters. "We the people" keep electing the same people.

Absolutely. Imagine two outcomes:

A: you get $0
B: you get -$10k

Staying put is progress when the rest of the world is going backwards

What would any of that accomplish?

Are you under the impression that Mayorkas' replacement would be better?

Look at you once again displaying your hypocrisy for all to see. Johnson spends…..”that’s how it works.” Trump spends. “Reeeeeeeeee. He is destroying the country.”

Nothing but a standard case of TDS.

Indeed.

The posts in this thread tell me Magaphiles really dont know shite about Trump, theyre just in love with the personality.

They ONLY care about issues when the other guy takes a "wrong" position.

Trump has been signaling support for Ukraine and these dipshits are blind.
